Cancer researchers are modifying old therapies to create effective breast cancer treatments. Among the most promising treatments which are likely to be made available before the year 2000 are bone-marrow transplant, hormone therapy and the use of monoclonal antibodies.

Breast cancer is one of the biggest health problems in the US, affects one in every nine women. However, researchers have made great strides in fighting the disease. A brief overview of the different treatment options currently available is presented.

The volume of 911 emergency hotline calls has considerably risen that many calls have to be put on hold. A proposal is being made to eliminate frivolous and non-emergency calls to favor real emergencies.
