Death of a hospital
Article Abstract:
Chicago veterans have remained impassioned over the closure of a downtown VA hospital. Chicago veterans are coping with the changes wrought by CARES (Capital Asset Realignment for Enhanced Services) process, which includes hospital closures, mission changes, enhanced partnerships with Department of Defense, new medical centers in growth area and many high-priority clinics across the country.

Approximately 100,000 visitors per year are taken through a section of the Pentagram, when they can view some of the priceless and publicly owned art on display. Depictions of the Air Force represent 40% of the collection which can be seen.
