Geoff Glave, aged 46, was one of the six policeman who were victims of the accident at the Hillsborough football ground, Sheffield, UK, in 1989, whose claim for compensation for post-traumatic stress disorder was rejected in 1995, who are appealing on July 15 1996. Glave retired exhausted from the police force in 1993, and had to move to a smaller, cheaper house. After the accident, when he and his colleagues saw corpses all around them, Glave suffered depression and flashbacks and drank more than he used to.

For shame
Article Abstract:
The impact of shame on people's lives and its direct relation to the self is analyzed. Several types of shame are explained: existential, narcissistic, situational and class shame. Shame is fostered in family relationships; hence, emotional problems rooted in it can be solved from within the family.
