Foreign aid follies
Article Abstract:
Funds extended by USAID to assist other nations toward economic development are being mishandled. This is apparent in the disastrous foreign aid programs for Mali, Panama and Haiti. The agency should realize that the success of economic development programs depends on national commitment to reform.
