Glories of an ancient grave: an exclusive look at a Roman treasure buried for nearly two millenia

Construction workers discovered an 1,800-year-old burial chamber in Marsala, Italy, in the summer of 1994. The exquisitely decorated chamber was for Crispia Salvia, the wife of a wealthy merchant. Photos of the chamber are featured.
