Robert McCloskey's classic children's book 'Make Way for Ducklings' celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in Boston, where the tale takes place. Ducklings Day is held annually the last Sunday in April with a parade to the city's Public Garden, where the ducklings lived happily ever after.

Preserving a kitchen tradition
