Dave Boyer and Crystal Ramsey, two American college seniors decided to go for a two-hour hike in the Amazon rainforest and what followed was a horrifying, depressing and unending 6-day search for the path to come out of the forest, even when survival seemed so impossible to manage. The jungle had tested them and their relationship and still had much more to teach them.

Caught in a swirling deathtrap

Matt Mousley and Pete Rohde almost died when they were swept out to sea by a dangerous undertow in Gun Beach, Guam in Oct. 1985. The experience has changed their lives. Mousley has become more concerned with his future while Rohde regained his self-confidence.
