It's time to protect our flag

The Citizens Flag Alliance is promoting a constitutional amendment to protect the flag against desecration. The success of this effort depends on the Americans who support it through donations, letters to legislators, signature petitions and other support activities.

Flag burnings continue
Article Abstract:
Cases of flag desecration continue in the country in spite of the Citizens Flag Alliance's flag protection campaign. A woman in Cleveland, OH, and a group that protested against Proposition 187, are two instances where the perpetrators were not penalized.

Colonial Flag Co. in Coshocton, OH, was established in 1820 and is the largest flag-making company in the world. Its 60 employees feel a special pride whenever they sew together a US flag.
