A healing birth
Article Abstract:
The Ayala family of Walnut, CA, was despondent when their teenage daughter, Anissa, was diagnosed with leukemia in 1988. They worked hard to find a bone marrow donor, but lack of success led in part to their decision to have another child, in 1990, who ended up being a perfect donor match. Annisa is now healthy.
