Jaromir Jagr is a six-foot-two, 208-lb. right winger for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The left-handed Jagr is from the Czech Republic. He helped the Penguins win the 1992 Stanley Cup. He was awarded the Art Ross Trophy for leading the league in scoring in the 1994-95 season with 32 goals and 38 assists.

Pat Gillick has managed the Blue Jays since it was franchised in 1976. Since then, he has successfully engineered a World Series victory, the first time it was won by a non-US franchise. One of Gillick's strengths is the effective farm system which he set up in the early years of the club.
