Hotelier Ian Schrager and designer Philippe Starck designed and decorated New York's Royalton and Paramount, Miami Beach's Delano, and Los Angeles' Mondrian. Architect Anda Andrei has joined them to create the St. Martins Lane hotel in the West End of London. The hotel has 204 rooms painted with colored light which the guests can change at their whim.

British car manufacturer Bentley introduces its new saloon model, Arnage, after 18 years, in a test drive at Le Mans. The new twin turbocharged car has smoother, rounded lines and taller than other saloon models. However, it still has the most beautiful grille in the world.
