Military recruiting in public schools
Article Abstract:
Senator Johnny Isakson (Republican, Georgia) and Representative Lynn Woolsey (Democrat, California) have given their views on the military recruiting in the US public schools. While Isakson states that military recruiters should have the same access as college and career counselors to schools receiving federal funds, Woolsey believe that students' personal information should only be released with the written consent of papers.

An excerpt from a statement made by Representative Randy "Duke" Cunningham, R-California, after he introduced H.J. Res. 10, the flag-protection amendment, on January 25, 2005 is given. He hopes that the amendment would restore the most recognized sign of the unity of the United States at a time when the country is faced with increasing youth violence and cultural breakdown.
