AmericaEs entry in both the world wars blamed for intelligence failures but the intelligence services played an important role in finding the Zimmerman Telegram that detailed German plans to use Mexico as a proxy for war against the United States. U.S. history has offered ways in which intelligence failures could be dealt, however, the intelligence failures occurred frequently and led to serious political and military problems.

'Muscular idealism'

Scholar-author Victor Davis Hanson describes about muscular idealism, the notion of promoting peace in Middle East by using military power, and also tells that the Arab world is learning the hard way that Islam and freedom need not be mutually exclusive. He has written many books on war and his latest contribution, 'A War Like No Other: How the Athenians and Spartans Fought the Peloponnesian War', is due in October 2005.

A considerable mass believes that the world needs an international criminal court (ICC) to combat genocide, war crimes and other crimes against humanity. There is a possibility that someone will use the ICC for political purposes and exploit the process.
