Mystery in the mangroves
Article Abstract:
A sailor and his two sons hoping to find shelter from a coming storm were directed by a flock of birds to an island. There they found a trail of dead birds entangled on a fisherman's wire. They cut the wire and buried the birds. The birds seemed to thank them and the storm miraculously cleared up.

Dog overboard!

Santos was a smart dog who brought laughter and adventure to his owners' sea trips. The family almost gives him up for lost a day after he falls from the boat. He, however, manages to get saved by staying afloat and is returned to them after spending some time with his rescuers.
