French President Jacques Chirac expresses his friendship and solidarity to stand by America after the September 11, 2001 accident. However, million of American people found the behavior of the French exasperating and they responded in a humorous way as America's oldest ally was reasserting its close historical and cultural ties in a moment of national catastrophic.
