Details about the Mardi Gras Parade are given that is held during the period of February 28 - March 2, in the city of Burlington on the shores of Lake Champlain, which heats up winter. Now in its eight year, the parade attracts more than 12,000 spectators, including young families as well as college students from the University of Vermont, Champlain College and Burlington Community College.
