Article Abstract:
Peru's internal conflict continues to worsen. The Marxist-oriented Shining Path movement, led by Abimael Guzman Reynoso, is slowly succeeding in its attempt to seize control of Peru. The Peruvian government must learn to cooperate with its people if they intend to win the war against the rebels.

Article Abstract:
Sylvia and Alec Steel, along with Judith Goodwin and balloon pilot Roger Meadmore arranged a leisure trip on a hot air balloon. The strong winds, however, swept them to sea and almost killed them. The daring rescue of Constable Greg St. Clair and Greg Turner saved them from further harm.

Against the raging river
Article Abstract:
Bus driver Jack Rogers and two other companions tried to cross a bridge which was already three feet underwater. The heavy rains and the violent river made the bus roll on its side. The daring rescue of Sgt. Brian Smith and Shane Hughes saved them from further harm.
