Article Abstract:
Issues concerning social perceptions of women's eating habits are discussed. Particular attention is given to descriptions of social perceptions related to food which make women more attractive to men, such as the fact that they should not be seen eating in public.

Expensive and less nutritious foreign brands of food especially that from the US is replacing the cheaper native Mexican food products. Indeed, Mexico is being saturated with American products that it is slowly losing its cultural identity.
