Article Abstract:
Mark Mikitarian and Marc Sevigny acquired 10000 square foot, four story building, that once housed dozens of participating Shakers in it original dormitory bedrooms and later used as a barn and chicken coop, in Harvard. It is described that with the help of local architect David Durrant and builder Phil Brown, the pair focused on a 2000 square foot space on the first and the second floors of the dwelling and shaped this massive 1846 antique into a comfortable, updated home for two on a modest budget.

House for sale: Down by the old mill stream
Article Abstract:
New Yorker bought the mill back in the early 1980s from her late painting teacher's estate, with a plan to append their home to the mill seamlessly, without disrupting the feel of the place inside or out. The outside is as charming as the inside, with sitting areas, garden path and an arbor, and a river where the owner with family joined by their pets.
