The breathtaking scenery around Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay makes it an ideal vacation spot, and thousands of visitors gather every summer along the 32-mile long, 10-mile wide bay that opens northward from Traverse City to Lake Michigan within a frame of maple and pine forests. Visitors fish, water ski, bike, golf, gather around campfires and fan out to explore shore towns, and taste some of the Whitefish menu of the Carlson Fisheries, Michigan.

I took grandma to Branson and liked it!

A visit to Branson, Missouri is related which happens to be a place suited for senior citizens as much as it is for hip, young and single crowd. The main attractions of the city include the Branson variety theater, Shoji Tabuchi show, Dick's 5&10, Branson Scenic Railway, the original Branson carriage company, Astrium Cafe, Outback steak and Oyster bar, Branson Cafe, and lodging at the Chateau on the Lake, Cascades Inn and Angel Inn.

Kids' menu helps the homeless
Article Abstract:
The South Water Kitchen, a restaurant in Chicago has a panel of homeless children under age 12 on its taste test. The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) benefits from half of all proceeds from the 'Just 4 Kids' menu of the restaurant.
