The National Audubon Society's ecology camp on Hog Island in Maine's Muscongus Bay teaches youngsters respect for nature and the environment that they keep all their lives. The ten day camp is held twice every August. The address and phone number are provided.

A holy time in the orchard
Article Abstract:
The apple orchards in Glastonbury, CT, are particularly beautiful around early May, when the trees are in bloom. However, the orchards are threatened by developers. Some people have sold their land, but a few owners, all of Italian descent, refuse to sell.
