Article Abstract:
Bill Donnell creates clapboards used to restore old homes at his mill in Sedgwick, ME. He insists on local pine because it is the best wood for house siding and cuts it in a way that makes it top quality as opposed to getting the most wood out of a log. He says they are made to last 250 years.
