Racial tension is rising in the US and it desperately needs reckoning from government leaders. David Duke's visibility in politics has given hopes to Ku Klus Klan revival while Louis Farrakhan's popularity is spreading among blacks. Racial polarization must be addressed by the nation's leadership.

Can whites search for tribal roots?
Article Abstract:
Fascist ideology has hampered the white American's search for his cultural identity but has not totally eradicated it. An American searching for his roots always risks being branded as a supremacist. However, history will show that this search is not futile and that a white identity does exist.
