A Belmont, NH, man, Richard P. Pavlik, drove to Palm Beach, FL, on Dec 11, 1960, with the intention of killing Pres-elect John Kennedy by driving into his car and exploding dynamite. He was in position to do so when he saw that Kennedy was with his wife and child, he later told authorities.
