Television isolates people. It wrecks many a friendship since it substitutes meaningful dialogue and human companionship with a fascination with screen heroes and plots that borders on obsession. An account of how a girl of eight lost her best friend because of the enticements of television is presented.

An old red Ford sedan served as a transportation for a group of high school friends. During their teenage years, the young people had many memorable experiences with the car. It was unfortunate that it had to be finally laid to rest in a junkyard many years after.
