The football murder
Article Abstract:
The brutal murder of Larry Carnegie in Feb 28, 1989 implicated millionaire Michael Blatt. Unfortunately, two long trials did not adequately prove Blatt's complicity or innocence. Blatt was finally acquitted after retrial although he will be linked to the crossbow murder of Larry Carnegie.

Collectors value the clocks made by Elmer Stennes, the only large-scale reproducer of classic American clock cases, either because of their quality or because of the scandal that he created. Elmer is also remembered for killing his wife with a .357 magnum derringer.
