Charles Lindbergh's baby son, Charles A. Lindbergh Jr, was kidnapped on March 1932. Lindbergh's popularity as one of the country's pioneer aviators contributed to an outpouring of support from the public. The search for his son's kidnappers led to one of the largest manhunts in the US history.

San Diego's football hero
Article Abstract:
Seay was shot by gang members in 1988 while trying to save his niece's life. Seay, who was playing college football at the time, decided to continue playing, even though he lost a kidney. He was a top player for the Chargers in 1994 and played in the Super Bowl in Jan 1995.
