The minutemen's flag
Article Abstract:
The flag, which was carried by Nathaniel Page into battle, symbolized their triumph over the British regulars during the American Revolution. The flag was kept by the descendants of Page and was donated to the Bedford Free Library in 1885. Its source has remained unknown.

Mike's flag

While imprisoned in a Vietnamese camp, naval pilot Mike Campbell found an old handkerchief and created a small American flag. The piece of rag became the captured Americans' source of inspiration and symbol of cherished freedom.
