Life and its renewal are discussed with referenc to the preservation of of old buildings and objects. The USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned warship in the country, but it has been renovated numerous times and little of the original nineteenth century ship is left.

The unfinished tapestry

Patryc Wiggins creates a tapestry revealing the daily scenes in her old hometown in Newport, NH. The 6 feet by 13 feet project, which Wiggins started in 1988, is being created in honor of the townspeople who do boring work day after day.

The pet pig Christopher Hogwood has become a bit of a celebrity in his southern New Hampshire community, as neighbors drop by with all sorts of foodstuffs to see if there is anything he will not eat. So far nothing has been found.
