The simple life?
Article Abstract:
An insight on Amish people, a religious sect who follows a super-traditional culture and let their children go out of their insular community or be 'English' when they turn 16 to let them decide whether they want to join the church after being baptized is presented through the eyes of an Amish girl Miriam Fehr. Through her views the author tries to understand why nearly 80 percent of the girls give up all their newfound freedom to join their families restrictive religion.
