Issues relating to the discussion of the defeat of flag-protection amendment in the Senate are discussed, in relation to activities of the American Legion discussed at the 41st Annual Washington Conference. It is the belief of the organisation that the flag should be sacred, given the numerous lives which have been lost for it.
