Thurman on translation and death
Article Abstract:
Translation in the Buddhist sense involves being able to comprehend two different cultures and connecting the two together. The recent translation of 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead' has a chapter that discusses death. Death is presented as an intensifier of life, the ultimate letting go.
