Tiger hunt

A man describes his love for the beauty of tiger lilies and the difficulty he encountered in finding them. The bell-shaped, orange-colored flowers are no longer sold at nurseries, being replaced by day-lily hybrids. Now considered wild, tiger lilies might be found around abandoned gardens.

Who was Peter Hunt?

Peter Hunt was an artist known for his talent in designing pieces of furniture and accent. Hunt's popularity achieved its peak during 1930s and 1940s when his brightly colored creations were viewed as relief to the devastations of Great Depression and World War II.
