It took nearly five years before Corinne Flynn's 1991 rape and murder was solved. When the Cold Case Squad took over the case in 1994, lieutenant detectives Timothy J. Murray and Stephen A. Murphy thought like a killer to lead them to the arrest of a Flynn family friend, Gerald C. Craffey.
