Victim-rights constitutional amendment
Article Abstract:
A debate on Victim-rights constitutional amendment is presented. Russell Butler is of the opinion that the "Justice for All" Act was passed by Congress, which includes provisions benefiting crime victims and the victims-rights movement attempts to re-establish the victim as a participant in the justice system. However, Jesselyn McCurdy opposes that many of the rights the amendment would create are at the expense of the justice, sought by crime victims.
