A 36-year-old Harvard MBA and photographer, tries to find out whether there was a necessity of vision for photography to be meaningful. After teaching art to blind children, he discovered that sight was not necessary for creating photographs, but the images produced by his students were powerful where the viewers take away the impression about the way the blind people see the world.

Printmakers Currier and Ives have come to be loved for their quintessentially American images. As is typical of Victorian-era art, the prints of Currier and Ives present an idealized, innocent, even sentimentalized version of life in the 19th century America.
