Stingrays are not as dangerous as they look. Underwater adventurers can actually observe these creatures up close and even feed them by hand. However, stingrays are dangerous if stepped on or stung by their long tails. Extra caution should be taken when playing with these underwater creatures.

Climbing the Chilkoot

Thousands passed through the famed Chilkoot Pass on their way to the Klondike gold fields in the 1890s. Recently, scouts from Troop 1969 of Stanton, PA, and Troop 38 of Skagway, AL, hiked through the trail using the route used by the Klondike prospectors.
