John Wetteland of the Texas Rangers and Mark Wohlers of the Atlanta Braves are among the best relief pitchers, or 'closers,' in baseball. Starting pitchers may pitch several innings per game, but only in one game per week, while relievers pitch a few innings per game, but several days in a row.
