The advent of lullaby tapes for babies and sophisticated electronics have replaced parents' voices crooning their children to sleep. However, none of these can replace the communion built between parent and child, nor the joy parents feel when singing to or with their children.

Memories of songs learned in childhood have become practically lost as lullaby tapes replace parents' voices crooning their children to sleep. Family gatherings and road travels are ideal situations when parents can impart an appreciation of music to children.
