Why TV is so trashy ... and what we can do about it

Present-day TV is characterized by rampant recreational sex, denigration of women, the absence of a family viewing hour, and negative true-life programming after school. Viewers must work with programmers to change this. Viewers must pressure for more positive role model portrayal.
