Article Abstract:
The US should take a different national-security strategy now that the old realities of the Cold War have been replaced with new threats. Potential aggressors in Iran, Libya, Eastern Europe and North Korea are new menaces to the liberty that the US holds dear. Taking a different approach prepares the country for risks and opportunities in the future.
