Many veterans do not know that they can use their home loans more than once. The GI Home Loan program's present maximum entitlement is $46,000, but veterans can avail of new loans if the amount they previously borrowed is below the maximum entitlement amount.

The US Veterans Administration (VA) guarantees home loans for eligible veterans. These loans are obtained from private lenders of which VA guarantees 25% of the amount for up to a maximum of $46,000. The loans may also be used for home improvement.
