A ship passenger narrates how he was able witness the sinking of the 'Andrea Doria' liner in July 26, 1956. The 75-foot liner sunk one day after it was hit by a Sweden-bound liner called 'Stockholm.' Several lives were saved after the 'Stockholm' liner sent lifeboats to the ill-fated liner.

A man who called the Greyhound bus line to inquire about bus service from Portland, ME, to Belfast, ME, about 80-90 miles apart, was flabbergasted when the agent told him it would take 10 hours. He then found out the route takes the bus through Massachusetts and New Hampshire first.
