Does education improve citizenship? Evidence from the United States and the United Kingdom
Article Abstract:
The relation between education and civic participation is studied. The effect of higher education on citizen's participation in understanding the political process is examined. The experimental results of the study if schooling enhances civic participation in political process in United States and United Kingdom are presented.

Redistribution and education subsidies are Siamese twins
Article Abstract:
By the employment of a redistributive income tax, education can be subsidized in the most desirable way. By elaborating on this relation, redistribution and education subsidies are depicted as Siamese twins. A model is suggested for optimal linear income tax and education policies.
