Assessing the value of the CGFM designation
Article Abstract:
An article about the Association of Government Accountants' (AGA) Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation is presented. The AGA started the CGFM program in 1994. The designation first was awarded based on educational and experience, but now is bestowed after the accountant successfully takes three examinations.
