Population concentration, urbanization and demographic transition
Article Abstract:
An investigation is conducted on the inter relation between urbanization and demographic transition via merits and demerits of population concentration. The conclusion states some historical patterns, which are advances in urbanization, rises in the wage rate, declines in fertility and decline in the population growth-rate.

Urbanization and growth
Article Abstract:
A dynamic model of rural-urban migration with growth resulting from technological progress due to human capital accumulation is presented. It is assumed that the productivity depends on human capital, which is solely accumulated in cities, such that urbanization is the engine of growth.
