Slice 'n dice
Article Abstract:
California's legislative districts are too big and their unmanageable proportions seriously obscure the real diversity in California's lifestyle and politics, making it difficult for one legislator to be accountable to the needs and interests of hundreds of thousands of people living in such disparate circumstances. If there are smaller legislative districts they will yield more lawmakers, more accountability and better decision-making.
