Valuing rail access using transport innovations
Article Abstract:
A strong experimental technique is employed to measure the advantages of rail access to customers. The study of the influence of new transport changes on local and house prices and station distance reflect that families cherish rail access more than other local services.

Tax base effects and fiscal externalities of local capital taxation: evidence from a panel of German jurisdiction
Article Abstract:
An empirical investigation of tax base effects of local capital taxation is presented using a large panel of German jurisdictions. Externalities from taxing decisions of adjacent jurisdictions are experienced only by relatively small municipalities.

Transport tax reform, commuting, and endogenous values of time
Article Abstract:
The effects of transport tax reform on the value of time and marginal external congestion costs is analyzed. A model with two trip purposes, commuting and noncommuting is used to for this purpose.
