Child care centers in long term care facilities
Article Abstract:
Some long-term care facilities are becoming locations for child care centers. The advantages are that both older people and children benefit by the sharing. Certain procedures must be followed in order to install a day care center in a nursing home. The elderly are screened before they interact with the children.

Nursing homes are marketed by effective communications with social service agencies and positive response from clientele. The nursing home needs to be seen as a viable provider of services that promote a valuable service to their communities.
