Don't force change - facilitate it
Article Abstract:
Effecting change within an organization can be made more smoothly by considering the social aspects of change, and enhancing its ability to implement the changes to be made. By fostering the formation of open lines of communication, defining and understanding the roles of personnel involved and affected by the change, recruiting a 'champion' to endorse the change, and identifying the qualities of the facilitator and team members, change can be effected more quickly and effectively since most changes within organizations are determined by the acceptance and execution of plans by personnel.

The Genesis Enterprise: creating peak-to-peak performance
Article Abstract:
The Genesis Enterprise is a new management model which allows units to retain optimum performance by reacting positively to change and its demands. The Genesis Enterprise relies on the quality of leadership supplied by managers, as leaders rather than managers. This means that the direction, commitment and ability to react to change emanates from the leader and filters down effectively to unit members. The system also relies heavily on team-based organizations to respond effectively to changes.
